Graduate Student Intern

If you're constantly showing up for everyone else while quietly struggling yourself, you're not alone. Many of the clients I work with are adolescents and young adults navigating self-esteem concerns, unhealthy relationships, depression, burnout, stress, fatigue, or feelings of isolation. They are often the people others rely on, the friend, sibling, student, athlete, or caregiver who keeps pushing forward even when they feel overwhelmed on the inside.

You may have already tried making changes on your own. Maybe you've worked on your sleep, adjusted your routines, or told yourself to just keep going. Yet despite your efforts, you still find yourself feeling stuck. I believe recognizing that something needs to change is a sign of strength, and reaching out for support is often the first step toward creating the life you want.

My approach is collaborative and rooted in the belief that you are the expert on your own life. Together, we'll explore the experiences, relationships, and patterns that may be impacting your well-being while identifying practical strategies that support meaningful growth. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to help clients challenge unhelpful thought patterns, build on their strengths, and create realistic goals for change.

My passion for this work comes from my own experiences navigating adolescence and young adulthood. Balancing friendships, relationships, academics, life transitions, and the uncertainty that often comes with growing up can feel overwhelming. Having experienced burnout myself, I understand how easy it is to prioritize everyone else's needs while neglecting your own. Those experiences inspired my desire to help others find clarity, confidence, and balance during difficult seasons of life.

In addition to my clinical training, I bring more than 10 years of experience working with youth and young adults between the ages of 11 and 20. As a high school teacher and coach, I have had the opportunity to support young people through many of the challenges and transitions that come with adolescence and early adulthood. I am currently pursuing my graduate degree and working toward becoming a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.

My goal is to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel comfortable being yourself. Therapy should be a place where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes at your own pace.

When I'm not working, you can usually find me baking, gaming, or enjoying time by the pool or beach. I look forward to supporting you on your journey toward growth and healing.
